The Dolomiti Superski skipass gives access to 12 different ski resorts and over 1,200 km of runs. Not enough? Then you can get the Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi skipass, for additional 175 km of best-prepared runs and 78 lift facilities. An appealing alternative is represented by sledging: starting at the Rasciesa funicular railway in Ortisei/St. Ulrich, a spectacular 6 km- long sledging run is a fun-packed adventure for young and old, during the day and under the moonlight!  Those who prefer to experience the snow of Val Gardena/Gröden in its quiet, romantic side, can choose among several options, such as horse-drawn sleigh rides through the fairy winter landscapes of the Dolomites. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find something to seek their teeth in: the facilities in Vallunga/Maseben, not far from Selva di Val Gardena/Wolkenstein in Gröden, feature 133 km of trails as well as four rinks:

• Trail 1 (green): 1.5 km, 23 m drop - easy
• Trail 2 (blue): 3.0 km, 55 m drop – easy
• Trail 3 (red): 5.0 km, 81 m drop – medium
• Trail 4 (black): 10.0 km, 210 m drop, difficult.

Begging for more? The Dolomiti NordicSki is Europe’s most extensive cross-country carousel with 1,300 km of trails, with one single skipass to access them all. The DSV Nordic Active Park in Vallunga offers an interesting menu of activities ranging from cross-skiing training plans to snowshoeing tours during winter, and Nordic walking hikes in summer. The Pranives ice rink and the weekly programme “Val Gardena Active” round up the amazing variety of snow-action in Val Gardena/Gröden.
