Here is some useful information to help you organise your stay at Hotel La Pineta. We are at your disposal for any further detail or special request. 

HOW TO REACH US

If you are travelling by car, take the Brennero/Brenner A22 motorway and take the exit for Chiusa/Clausen. Continue towards Val Gardena/Gröden along parkway SS242; after ca. 30 minutes you will be arriving in Selva/Wolkenstein. Turn right into Strada La Sëlva: welcome at Hotel La Pineta!

If you are travelling by train, stop at Bolzano/Bozen, Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck or Bressanone/Brixen. From there, the bus will take you to Selva di Val Gardena/Wolkenstein in Gröden. We are happy to assist and book a cab for you to reach us directly from the railway station. Alternatively you can book directly at http://www.taxiautosella.it/en/.

If you are flying to South Tyrol, the closest airports are in Bolzano/Bozen (40 km), Verona (190 km), Innsbruck (120 km), Munich (300 km) and Milan (300 km).

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 2:00 p.m.
On the day of departure, we ask you to kindly check-out by 10:00 a.m.
Late check-out and early check-in can be arranged at an additional charge. As an alternative, we provide a locker room with toilet and shower for guests who wish to leave their baggage and freshen up.

CASH PAYMENT

Please be informed that cash payments are limited by law to a maximum of 4999.99 Euros for EU citizens. We also accept all current credit cards (except American Express) and cheques.

VOUCHERS

Some time out and happy moments are the best way to reward someone special. We will be happy to follow your instructions for a personalised gift voucher.

PETS

Pets are welcome, but they are not allowed in the common areas. If you are travelling with your four-legged friend, please inform us upon reservation and remember to bring their blanket and basket.

The daily fee is 10.00 euro (food excluded).

TOURIST TAX

Prices are per person per day, for a minimum stay of 3 days, with inclusive services. In addition, since 1st January 2014 a tourist tax amounting to 2.00, or 2.80 Euro respectively from 1st January 2024, per day per person has been levied by the Province of Bolzano/Bozen(children under the age of 14 are exempt). The payment of the tourist tax entitles you to receive the Val Gardena Mobil Card, which allows you to use all public transport throughout South Tyrol for free during your stay.

SMOKING

In Italy, smoking is forbidden by law in all public places. Smoking is not allowed in our rooms.

RESERVATIONS and CANCELLATION POLICY

For a binding reservation, we request a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the stay. In case of cancellation up to 40 days' notice, it is possible to keep the paid deposit for a future stay within one year from the originally agreed stay. For cancellations less than 15 days before arrival, the paid deposit is kept as cancellation penalty. For cancellatione less than 15 days before arrival, a penalty of 80% of the total cost of the stay will be required. In case of early departure or late arrival, 80% of the agreed daily price will be calculated for each unused day (exceptions may apply at management’s discretion). These conditions are valid only for individual reservations.

We recommend you purchase a trip cancellation insurance to cover cancellation fees.
